HOLI 2024

WINDMILLS CELEBRATES HOLI

& learns of Holika Dahan.

Water shortage in the city did not dampen the spirit of the Windmillers this time around.

Our resourceful residents managed to procure organic dry color and even flower petals. There was no dearth of color or enthusiasm. 🤩

This is one festival where everyone turns up on time not wanting to miss out on the fun.

Peppy music and a vast spread of delicious dishes completed the festivities.

Now that COVID is behind us and all festivals are being celebrated we earnestly hope that more residents volunteer to lead events.

The older residents are always there to help but new ideas add an element of surprise. So going ahead we look forward to newcomers taking the lead!!

Thank you for those of you who stepped up to make the event a joyful one and thanks for the PMD support.

So with Holi marking the advent of a new season we now wait for the monsoons.

The success of these events depends on the participation of individuals from within our community. If you have lived at Windmills for 6 years or for 6 months and have a special talent, skill, or time to offer, we encourage you to volunteer for the next event. New residents are especially welcome; it's a great way to get to know your neighbors and celebrate a special event in the life of our community.
