WINDMILLS FESTIVE GIVING 2023
352 resident units housed in the 24.5 acres of Windmills are taken care of throughout the year by 168 staff.
The staff ensure the community is safe, essentials are up and running, landscaping is nurtured, administration is functioning smoothly, waste collected & disposed of, water treatment & generators supervised…to mention just a few of the jobs they do with earnestness to provide the comfort of living in Windmills.
Appreciation is all we can give in return, and that too is not enough! As a token of thanks annually we celebrate the festive season with them.
After hosting the staff for lunch there is a gift giving ceremony before they close for the day.
Thank you ever so much to all those who donated & to the selfless volunteers.

A month prior to the event, donations are collected from residents and a survey is taken to choose the presents. The volunteers go all out to source the best gifts at the best price - even if it means a trip or two to Chickpet, the wholesale market at the other end of town!
STAFF MEMBER GIFT
Each staff member was given three large stainless steel storage containers, a water bottle, casserole, and set of sheets.
LEADERSHIP TEAM GIFT
Each leadership team member was given a backpack endorsed by Virat Kohli, deluxe tiffin box set, water bottle, flashlight, and set of sheets.

This year it was heartening to see so many new residents volunteering to help in whichever way they could. In doing so they were also getting to make new friends and integrate. The ‘usual’ volunteers steadfastly took it upon themselves to do all that was required to make the event a memorable one.
