EASTER AND UGADI 2024
WINDMILLS TODDLERS CELEBRATE EASTER AND UGADI
Sunday, 31st March was bright sunny morning. Toddlers assembled at the Bookworms Library to engage in Easter-related activity.
The previous evening the kids came to paint boiled eggs. They had a blast messing around with the colours and glitter. Each getting encouraged to do more watching their friends paint.
Easter morning was like a bunny fancy dress parade. They trooped in adorable bunny costumes, complete with whiskers, ears & tails, each carrying their own little baskets. A sight to see.
First on the agenda was craft activity that entailed them making their own bunny goody bags.
They then sat engrossed listening to moms reading out tales & poems in an interesting storytelling session.
The grand finale was the egg-citing hunt. They ran around looking for the hidden booty to put all their eggs in one basket.
It was a treat to see them see them shouting with delight each time they got their loot. Their egg-ercise ended when they came to claim their well-earned chocolate filled goody bags!
After all the fun the toddlers were well and truly egg-hausted and ready to go home and nap. In an ‘egg’shell it was a Sunday morning well spent!
So many egg puns, it’s not even bunny ☺️
